Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Global Supply Manager to own supplier selection and day-to-day execution for semiconductor, PCBA, and electronic components. You will manage POs, expediting, and change control to keep production lines running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in semiconductor purchasing, strong ERP/PLM experience, and proven ability to reduce costs while aligning engineering and supplier teams in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or supply chain discipline.
• 5+ years of purchasing and commodity management in semiconductors/electronics.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor devices, packaging, and PCBA processes.
• Experience generating high-volume POs from dynamic BOM revisions.
• Proven escalation point for material planners and CM issues.
• Experience reconciling invoices with Accounts Payable and managing supplier credit.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier and CM communication for PO management, expediting, and change management.
• Own PO management: generate/update POs from BOM revisions and issue builds.
• Expedite parts and serve as escalation point for shortages and issues.
• Partner with CM on schedules, kitting, and logistics; coordinate quality issues.
• Coordinate AP invoice alignment and avoid credit holds with suppliers.
• Manage end-to-end changes: ensure cut-in dates and address E&O exposure.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities with Engineering, QA, and CM.
• Track orders, lead times, and supplier performance to flag risks early.
