Job summary

ALSO is seeking a Global Commodity Manager, Semiconductors to own the electronics and silicon supply base from concept through mass production. You will work with Engineering, Manufacturing, and NPI, and lead commercial activities with key manufacturers to secure critical parts for scalable vehicle platforms.

The role requires 7+ years in global sourcing for semiconductors, strong supplier relationship skills, and experience landing long-term agreements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in global sourcing or commodity management, specifically with semiconductors or complex EE components, plus real NPI experience.
• Direct sourcing experience in CPUs/GPUs/MCUs, DRAM/NAND, PMICs, sensors, USB/CAN/Ethernet, or display components.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute the global sourcing strategy for EE components and semiconductors across the vehicle roadmap.
• Own a semiconductor technology roadmap aligned with supplier and industry directions.
• Own the Approved Vendor List end to end and manage supplier lifecycle from qualification to performance review.
