Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Supply Management - Strategic Sourcing to lead direct spend categories, driving cost discipline and supplier performance. You will own category strategy for hardware, sensors, and contract manufacturing, and build a team of Global Supply Managers aligned with Aurora’s scale and vision.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or global supply management with direct categories.
• 8+ years of people management leading sourcing teams.
• Strong analytical skills: should-cost modeling, TCO analysis, and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own direct spend category strategy across hardware, sensors, and manufacturing.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting; conduct make-vs-buy analysis.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive quarterly business reviews.
• Govern AVL; classify suppliers to ensure healthy, cost-competitive supply base.
• Drive cost discipline, should-cost modeling, and long-term program targets.
• Oversee contracts, LTAs, NREs, and risk management; ensure IP protection and continuity.
• Build and mentor a high-performing Global Supply Managers team.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Product.
