Qualifications

• Formal Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical/Engineering, Thermal/Fluid, or related disciplines.
• Direct Professional Experience: 12+ years in high-density data center cooling design, HPC or hyperscale cloud ecosystems.
• Track Record of Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional global teams.

Responsibilities

• Boundary Architect (Regulatory & Standards): oversee safety and standards alignment.
• Hazard Protocols: engineer safety evaluations for coolant leaks and dielectric fluids.
• Commercial Vision: translate thermal management trends into profitable services.
• OCP Standardization: embed UL safety philosophies into open specifications.
• Service Creation: launch UL Verified programs to validate cooling technologies.
• Industry Influence: drive technical consensus across vendors and industry groups.
• Global Compliance: align offerings with regulatory frameworks like DOE, EU Ecodesign.
• Workforce Training: build global laboratory capacity and curricula.
• Travel: represent UL at client sites and industry events.
