Job summary

UL Standards & Engagement in the US is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering to lead a broad portfolio of interdisciplinary safety projects in a hybrid role based in Raleigh-Durham, NC, Evanston, IL, or Ottawa, CAN. You will translate scientific insights into actionable standards and advise on technical initiatives.

As a senior technical contributor, you’ll define engineering strategy, mentor teams, collaborate with cross‑functional partners, and represent ULSE at industry events to advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Strong leadership in multi-disciplinary projects.
• Experience with product safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Engineering strategy aligned with objectives.
• Serve as technical lead for complex projects across disciplines.
• Oversee end-to-end projects across lifecycles.
