Job summary

UL LLC seeks a seasoned Boundary Architect (Regulatory & Standards) to lead global testing standards and compliance programs for high-density data center cooling. You will drive technical consensus, publish guidance, and represent UL at industry events.

The role is hybrid with 3 days per week in US offices; remote work is possible for non-commutable candidates. Requires 12+ years in thermal engineering and leadership of cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of direct, progressive engineering experience in high-density data center cooling design or HPC thermal management.
• Experience leading cross-functional global teams and driving standards.
• Ability to publish white papers and present at industry events.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for standards, industry, and test capabilities.
• Represent UL on standards committees and at industry events.
• Develop and maintain standard programs for region or global.
• Interact with clients to explain UL procedures and certification requirements.
• Travel to client sites and industry functions as needed.
