Job summary

UL Solutions in the United States seeks a Senior Engineer to act as Regional/Global SME for multiple technologies and to represent UL on standards committees. This hybrid role requires three on-site days weekly; remote work is considered for non-commutable candidates.

Travel to industry events may be required. You will lead test programs, publish technical articles, train staff, and ensure compliance with UL procedures and safety practices while driving continuous improvement across global

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years of direct, progressive engineering experience in high-density data center cooling design, HPC cooling, or thermal management.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal/Fluid Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Applied Physics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Regional or Global SME for multiple technologies.
• Represent UL on standards committees and industry events.
• Publish articles related to technical expertise and test standards.
• Study and understand test standards, testing technology, and regulations for scope of responsibility.
• Lead and mentor staff; provide training as needed.
• Follow UL Code of Conduct and all safety practices; communicate with clients on UL procedures.
