Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a senior engineering professional to act as a Regional or Global SME for thermal management and related technologies. The role requires collaboration on standards, client communications, and program development across regional and global teams.

You will travel to client sites or industry events as needed, while contributing to training and ensuring compliance with UL procedures and regulatory requirements. The role is hybrid in the US with some remote considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal/Fluid Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Applied Physics.
• Minimum 12+ years of direct, progressive engineering experience in high-density data center cooling design or HPC thermal management.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional global teams and adherence to corporate codes of conduct and security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Act as Regional or Global SME for multiple technologies.
• Represent UL on standards committees and publish technical articles.
• Develop new standard programs and capabilities for region or globally.
• Understand test standards, testing technology, and regulatory requirements.
• Train staff as needed and address client concerns with UL procedures and requirements.
• Travel to client sites and industry events as needed to support business.
