Job summary

UL Solutions seeks a senior engineer to act as a regional/global SME for multiple technologies in data center cooling. The role is hybrid, requiring three days per week in any UL US location; remote will be considered for non-commutable candidates.

You will drive standards, publish technical articles, and participate in industry committees while shaping test methods and programs across regions. A deep background in HPC cooling and global team leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 12+ years of progressive engineering experience in high-density data center cooling or HPC thermal management.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional global teams with strong security/compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as Regional or Global SME for multiple technologies and standards.
• Represent UL on standards committees and publish technical articles.
• Understand test standards, procedures, and regulations within scope.
• Lead development of new standard programs and test capabilities regionally/global.
• Provide training and guidance to staff; engage with clients to resolve issues.
