Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a seasoned Payroll Leader to oversee U.S. and international payroll across multiple entities. You will manage processing, approvals, funding, tax compliance, reconciliations, and issue resolution while partnering with HR, Finance, and IT.

The role requires 7+ years of payroll experience, 3+ years of leadership, multi-entity expertise, and strong Excel skills; UK payroll and Canada/Mexico exposure are a plus. You will drive automation and system improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of payroll experience including processing and management responsibilities.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience managing payroll within a multi-entity or multi-subsidiary organization.
• Global payroll experience, including coordination with international payroll providers.
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance, payroll accounting, reconciliations, and controls.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead accurate and timely payroll processing for U.S. and international employee populations across multiple entities and countries.
• Oversee payroll approvals, funding, tax compliance, reconciliations, and payroll issue resolution.
• Manage payroll operations involving various currencies, pay frequencies, and employee groups.
• Review payroll processing for ~500 employees and provide backup support when necessary.
• Partner with HR, Benefits, Finance, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and IT to ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency.
• Support onboarding, deductions, employer contributions, and retirement plan payroll activities.
