Job summary

Eqvilent is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Accountant to own payroll accounting and related operations across multiple jurisdictions. You will handle payroll calculations, reconciliations, and coordination with external providers to ensure accuracy of personnel-related expenses.

This role collaborates with HR, Legal, Treasury, and Tax to support a growing international workforce. Ideal candidates have a strong accounting background, understand payroll processes, and enjoy implementing

Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting experience with payroll exposure.
• Strong understanding of payroll reconciliations, accruals and controls.
• Experience with external payroll providers and EOR platforms.

Responsibilities

• Calculate payroll and personnel-related expenses for assigned entities across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate payroll activities across multiple entities and legal jurisdictions.
• Partner with HR, Legal, Treasury and Tax to ensure accurate payroll processing.
• Perform payroll-related account reconciliations and support month-end close.
