Job summary

Egen is seeking a Senior Specialist/Manager, Payroll & Benefits to own and modernize our end-to-end global payroll, health and welfare benefits programs, and HRIS operations. You will lead total rewards across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K./EU, with support from two India-based team members, ensuring accuracy, cross-border compliance, and a great employee experience.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of payroll & benefits experience with at least 2+ years in a managerial role overseeing international operations.
• Hands-on experience running payroll in U.S., Canada, and European/U.K. regions (direct platforms or EOR/PEO).
• Strong proficiency in Paychex, Payworks, Remote.com and modern HRIS environments.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. self-funded and fully-insured plans, 401(k) administration, and Canadian benefit structures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end global payroll delivery for 375+ employees across multiple regions.
• Lead annual Open Enrollment for U.S. and Canada; manage plan design, brokers, system configuration, and communications.
• Manage day-to-day benefits administration (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement plans).
• Partner with Finance on monthly bill reconciliation for self-funded plans and leave tracking.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial and local labor and tax laws; support audits.
• Admin HRIS and payroll tools; optimize workflows and data integrity; generate labor cost analytics for executives.
