Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Payroll / Benefits Vice President to lead strategy, governance, and delivery of payroll and benefits for about 13,500 employees across the United States. You will partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and operations to ensure accurate, compliant compensation and benefits administration.

Responsibilities include overseeing multi-state payroll, executive compensation, open enrollment, vendor management, and system optimization, while building strong teams and controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, or business-related field.
• 10+ years leading payroll/benefits and total rewards at enterprise scale.
• Experience managing multi-state U.S. payroll and benefits.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. payroll tax, wage/hour, ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA.
• Experience overseeing executive compensation programs.
• Proven ability to drive process improvement and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead U.S. payroll operations for a large multi-state workforce.
• Oversee health and welfare, retirement, and other benefit programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, HRIS, and external advisors on complex matters.
• Manage executive compensation programs and related payroll coordination.
• Maintain controls over compensation data, vesting, and reporting.
• Develop and improve payroll/benefits policies and controls.
• Partner with Finance on funding, reconciliations, audits and reporting.
• Guide and develop payroll and benefits teams across functions.
• Manage vendor and broker relationships and technology partners.
• Lead annual benefits planning and open enrollment activities.
• Own payroll system performance and data integrity with IT/HRIS.
• Monitor KPIs, service levels, and compliance trends.
• Lead acceleration of mergers, acquisitions, and new entities payroll setup.
• Prepare executive-level reporting on costs, compliance, workforce trends.
