Job summary

Quality Talent Group seeks an experienced Operations leader for a multi-shift manufacturing environment in Tupelo, MS. The role focuses on maintaining SOPs, safety standards, and housekeeping while ensuring production schedules are met.

Responsibilities include mentoring supervisors, coordinating maintenance, and driving lean improvements to optimize line performance and product quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10 years in a manufacturing role.
• Management experience.
• Powered Industrial Vehicle license.
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Quality Improvement principles and system Improvement Methods

Responsibilities

• Maintain all disciplines across multiple shifts for SOPs, audits, safety, and housekeeping.
• Provide quality parts/product to ensure daily and weekly production schedules are met.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to keep machines, tools, and assembly lines operating at peak efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Operations Managers, Supervisors, and production personnel across multiple shifts.
• Ensure shift personnel adhere to the highest standards of shop floor organization and plant cleanliness.
