Job summary

FXI in Tupelo, Mississippi, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead safety, quality, and productivity across production and fabrication areas. You will guide hourly teams, manage schedules, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a union plant environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing or fabrication experience with leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality systems.
• Proficiency with SAP or similar manufacturing systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Promote, enforce, and actively participate in company safety programs and site-specific safety policies.
• Supervise daily production and fabrication activities to meet quality and productivity standards.
• Review daily production requirements and assign labor accordingly.
• Monitor work-in-progress and finished goods to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate production schedules and workflow with other departments and shifts.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and material usage.
• Train, coach, and evaluate hourly associates and production specialists.
• Address performance issues and partner with HR on corrective actions as needed.
• Communicate production performance and KPIs to leadership.
• Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
