Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. GLOBAL OPERATIONS ENGINEER (STARLINK) to own high-impact initiatives from end to end.

You will identify complex problems, build scalable solutions, influence cross-functional leadership, and translate data into strategic decisions that affect Starlink’s growth and profitability. Required: engineering/ STEM degree, 5+ years in ops/process improvement, 3+ years Excel/SQL/Python, and ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or STEM field
• 5+ years of experience in operations, process improvement, manufacturing, and/or consulting
• 3+ years of experience with Excel, SQL, and Python

Responsibilities

• Take extreme ownership of process improvement using first-principles to eliminate waste and scale self-service
• Identify systemic defects and drive root causes and scalable solutions
• Design lean data frameworks surfacing signals across customer journey and internal ops
• Partner with leadership to prioritize, de-scope, and allocate resources for high-impact solutions
• Own complex projects end-to-end with aggressive timelines and blockers removal
• Lead design reviews and rollouts with cross-functional teams
• Establish living knowledge systems and keep documentation simple and scalable
