Job summary

JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead Imports/Exports via Air and Ocean, oversee warehousing and customs brokerage, and ensure branch operations meet process and compliance standards.

You will drive KPI performance using dashboards, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor staff to achieve operational excellence while maintaining strong relationships with customers and carriers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Freight Forwarding operations experience including air/ocean and customs brokerage.
• 5+ years of supervisory/managerial experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Oversee imports/exports via Air/Ocean, warehousing, and customs brokerage oversight.
• Meet KPIs and manage KPI dashboards to drive performance.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, warehousing and support teams to meet budgets.
• Provide coaching and training; conduct performance evaluations for staff.
• Maintain relationships with customers and carriers.
