Job summary

JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, staff, safety and security, ensuring accurate inbound/outbound distribution.

Responsibilities include inventory control, scheduling, and coordination with other departments to meet client needs. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and knowledge of regulatory requirements (import/export, TSA).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Hazardous training certification preferred.
• Experience in distribution, freight forwarding, operations, or warehouse management (3–5 years).
• Knowledge of TSA and import/export regulations; facility management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory management for client warehouses including pick and pack operations.
• Maintain facility security and safety standards.
• Ensure high quality customer service and compliance with laws.
• Develop emergency management and HSE plans; ensure safety accountability.
• Hire, supervise, and evaluate branch staff; coach and develop employees.
• Lead biweekly sales/operations meetings; coordinate cross-department communications.
