Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in Iselin, NJ is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager, Account Director to drive outside sales for transportation and logistics services.

You will collaborate with the sales team and other departments to meet customer requirements and achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate has strong sales skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and deep knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of sales experience in transportation/logistics is desirable.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and target potential customers, including cold-calling and prospecting.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients with regular follow-up.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers.
• Manage the sales pipeline and update the CRM with accurate information.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and provide feedback to management.
