Job summary

Körber is hiring a Senior Project Manager in the United States to plan, execute, and deliver large cross‑functional projects. You will lead teams, manage budgets, and serve as the main contact for stakeholders across engineering, sales, and operations.

The role requires strong communication, risk management, and procurement oversight in a hybrid work setting. The position is based in Sandy Springs, GA, with the possibility of travel up to 50% and collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in project or program management.
• PMP or Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Proven experience managing complex, large‑scale technical projects in material handling, logistics, or automation.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and resource planning within warehouse, distribution, or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of system integration project execution processes, dependencies, and cross‑functional coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and client relationship management abilities.
• Exceptional planning, organizational, leadership, and influencing skills for leading multidisciplinary teams in a matrixed environment.
• Demonstrated adaptability, change management, problem‑solving, and strategic decision‑making in dynamic priorities.
• Proficiency in project management tools, including MS Project, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong financial and analytical acumen related to cost forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Commitment to safety and quality, driving continuous improvement across complex projects.
• Experience working within multicultural and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements with stakeholders.
• Oversee the full project execution lifecycle from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with requirements.
• Create and maintain detailed project schedules in MS Project; forecast resource demands and expenditures, and manage deviations.
• Identify scope changes and communicate cost and schedule impacts to customers and stakeholders.
• Serve as primary client‑facing contact for communications, documentation, updates, and meetings.
• Partner with engineering, sales, EHS&S, finance, contract management, customer service, and others to support execution and issue resolution.
• Lead project risk management and escalation across departments.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, contractual requirements, and third‑party vendors; translate requirements into engineering deliverables.
• Lead project‑related procurement activities with Supply Chain Procurement, including material tracking and inventory coordination.
• Ensure safety and quality standards throughout the lifecycle in coordination with site managers and safety teams.
• Conduct performance reviews and lessons‑learned analyses at milestones and closure; identify improvement opportunities.
• Travel up to 50% domestically and internationally as needed.
