Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Technical Program Director for Uber PMO to own a strategic customer program from concept through NPI to ramp. You will lead a matrixed team spanning hardware, software, systems engineering and program management, and serve as the primary technical contact to the customer.

You will drive phase-gate governance, manage risks, and coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain to meet quality, cost and schedule targets across multiple sites and time zones.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in hardware product development, including 7+ years leading complex technical programs.
• Experience delivering data center, server, storage or networking hardware for hyperscale or tier-1 OEM customers.
• Proven track record taking products through EVT/DVT, NPI and volume ramp in a JDM, ODM or EMS environment.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple sites and time zones.
• Strong working knowledge of DFM, DFT, test strategy and manufacturing process capability.
• Customer-facing experience at senior technical and executive level.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated program plan (schedule, milestones, phase gates, budget, risks) and drive EVT through ramp-to-volume targets.
• Ensure phase-gate governance with clear entry/exit criteria and go/no-go decisions.
• Serve as the customer's primary technical contact; set engagement cadence and lead reviews.
• Own the customer escalation path and resolve issues at the lowest effective level.
• Lead engineering and program teams through a matrix; set priorities and manage trade-offs.
• Define and apply the program RACI, decision rights, change control and reporting.
• Bring DFM/DFT input early and confirm test readiness before each build.
• Align supplier qualification, material readiness and line readiness with the program schedule.
• Report program health to senior leadership and the customer.
