Job summary

Celestica in San Jose seeks an experienced Director of NPI Program Management to lead end-to-end hardware product introductions from concept to mass production. You will manage a high-performing team of Manufacturing Technical Leads, coordinate with Design, Software, Factory and Operations teams, and ensure risk identification, mitigation, and Phase-Gate exits are executed on schedule.

This executive role requires a strong background in hardware programs, governance, and proven ability to scale

Qualifications

Deep mastery of product development lifecycles and BOM structures.
Strong governance and change-control experience.
Ability to lead matrixed, cross-functional teams across design, software, factory and operations.
Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar prototyping budgets and complex programs.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Manufacturing Technical Leads (MTLs) and manage team performance.
Strategically allocate resources across hardware and software programs to meet schedule and constraints.
Drive on-time prototyping and validate build plans, including SOW discipline and yield controls.
Establish predictive risk frameworks and enforce Phase-Gate governance across programs.
