Job summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking a Director of NPI Program Management to lead end-to-end hardware introductions from concept to mass production. You will own Phase-Gate governance, risk management, and execution across Design, Software, and Factory teams to deliver high-quality prototypes on schedule.

You will mentor a team of Manufacturing Technical Leads, optimize resources, and align engineering and manufacturing plans with program objectives in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of hardware program management or NPI engineering experience in high-performance compute, networking, hyperscaler, or tier-1 consumer electronics sectors.
• PMP or equivalent program management certification is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline. A Master’s degree is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage, mentor, and build a world-class team of Manufacturing Technical Leads (MTLs).
• Strategically allocate MTL resources across a complex portfolio based on product complexity and factory constraints.
• Act as the primary operational escalation point for bottlenecks, facilitating rapid engineering alignment and executive decision-making.
• Ensure seamless synchronization between Design teams and Factory NPI Managers; translate product requirements into factory directives.
• Partner with Front-End, Back-End, and Test Engineering Senior Managers to ensure manufacturing readiness and testing timelines.
• Bridge hardware design, firmware, diagnostics, and silicon features with manufacturing timelines.
