Job summary

SupplyX seeks a seasoned procurement professional to manage finish-material sourcing for multifamily, hospitality, and commercial projects. You will lead supplier relations with East Asia factories, support preconstruction during bidding, and ensure vendors meet spec, budget, and schedule through delivery.

You will negotiate pricing, manage cutsheets, and coordinate QA/QC across pre-production, inline, and pre-shipment stages. Travel to factories and trade fairs is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in procurement/sourcing for finish materials in construction.
• Direct experience buying from factories in East Asia.
• Ability to read construction docs, finish schedules, and specs.
• Strong Excel skills and data management in a system of record.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier side of finish materials packages from bidding to delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with factories.
• Review and approve cutsheets against specs before release to production.
• Manage submittal, samples, shop drawings, and approvals across teams.
• Coordinate quality control: pre-production samples and inspections.
• Vet and onboard new factories; maintain a rated vendor base.
• Track supplier performance on quality, on-time delivery, and responsiveness.
