Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel seeks a Team Leader to run the program team, own the plan and budget for each assigned program, and act as the client's daily delivery contact. You will manage budgets, master timelines in Smartsheet, oversee registration and attendee communications, and lead supplier/venue management for major events, including onsite delivery.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years delivering large corporate meetings and events with leadership for teams.
• Experience on a dedicated account team under a client SOW is ideal.
• Ownership of multimillion dollar program budgets with forecasts and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the program team and manage assignments, performance, and coverage.
• Own delivery from kickoff to onsite execution, including flagship conferences.
• Run planning cadences, status reporting, and client decision requests.
• Own budgets, forecasts, changes, and financial reporting for clients.
• Maintain master timeline and track milestones in Smartsheet.
• Oversee registration, housing, attendee communications, and data privacy.
• Lead supplier and venue management across hotels and partners.
• Direct onsite delivery with staffing plans and run of show ownership.
• Document planning files, decision logs, and post-debriefs for renewals.
• Partner with Head of Event Operations on scope, staffing, and changes.
