Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in digital community management in global environments.
• Experience owning day-to-day operations for large online communities with moderation.
• Strong understanding of online community dynamics and trust at scale.
• Experience using community tooling and analytics to track engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations of the dbt Slack community, ensuring a welcoming, high-signal experience for members worldwide.
• Partner with community leaders and internal stakeholders to evolve channel strategy, community guidelines, and engagement programming.
• Develop and maintain scalable moderation and support workflows (triage, escalation paths, response playbooks) including Code of Conduct enforcement.
• Coach and support moderators and community champions; recruit and onboard new moderators as the community grows.
• Create content systems that keep members informed and activated (announcements, highlights, prompts, and community storytelling).
• Surface community insights and member feedback to Product, Marketing, and Support; close the loop with the community on outcomes.
