Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Cyber Incident Response Coordinator to lead and coordinate complex global cybersecurity incidents, including after-hours scenarios. The role requires deep expertise in incident response, forensics, and cross-functional collaboration across counsel, privacy, risk, and IT teams.

The successful candidate will manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, drive process improvements, and deliver leadership-ready metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience across Information Security/IT roles including SOC, security operations, threat intelligence or related functions.
• 5+ years’ experience in SOC/Incident Coordination or similar roles.
• 3+ years’ experience in DFIR or Incident Coordination roles.
• Mastery of electronic investigation, forensic tools, and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex global cybersecurity incidents including after-hours responses.
• Liaise with General Counsel, Data Privacy/Protection, and Risk Management.
• Engage with internal teams, business partners, vendors, and external parties.
• Align with other incident management programs and peer support teams.
• Lead process and documentation improvements for incident response.
• Develop and deliver metrics to leadership on incident response performance.
• Report on team performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Draft communications and timely updates during and after events.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Own and oversee related process documentation.
• Be on-call off hours as part of rotation.
