Job summary

WHOOP in Boston, MA, is seeking a Senior Global Supply Manager, Contract Manufacturing to lead the commercial strategy and relationships across development, ramp, and mass production.

You will own complex negotiations, cost models, supplier governance, and sourcing decisions to improve cost competitiveness, supply resilience, and the overall member experience.

This is a full-time role requiring international travel and close collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in global supply management or contract manufacturing in consumer electronics/high-volume hardware.
• Experience owning complex commercial relationships with contract manufacturers and supporting products through development to mass production.
• Strong understanding of contract manufacturing economics, including cost components and terms.
• Proven experience leading complex commercial negotiations and translating requirements into financial/contractual structures.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and resolve issues in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally ~25%.
• Commitment to applying AI tools effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial strategy and relationships with contract manufacturing partners across product development, NPI, ramp, and mass production.
• Lead negotiations covering cost components, labor, margins, NRE, tooling, capital equipment, capacity, and payment terms.
• Develop and challenge detailed cost models with cross-functional partners to improve transparency and productivity.
• Drive commercial readiness for new and existing products through RFQs, proposals, capacity plans, and sourcing decisions.
• Establish supplier governance with executive relationships, performance metrics, and corrective actions.
• Resolve complex supplier and commercial issues and identify opportunities to strengthen strategy and resilience.
