Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager in Boston to partner with R&D on supplier qualification for NPIs and to own PFEP in BOMs. You will negotiate contracts, align with R&D on technical requirements, and drive risk mitigation while exploring new technologies to strengthen our supply chain.

You will collaborate cross-functionally, analyze data for cost and schedule improvements, and travel internationally up to 20% to audit suppliers and build relationships.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years post graduate experience in strategic sourcing, manufacturing, or supplier quality engineering.
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in data analysis and cost modeling.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify suppliers for new product introductions in collaboration with R&D.
• Own PFEP in an NPI BOM; manage supplier selection, negotiation, and contract execution for value, quality, and risk mitigation.
• Communicate technical requirements between Suppliers and Formlabs R&D.
• Research manufacturing technologies and market intelligence to bolster supply chain strategy.
• Lead cost modeling and cost estimation for new products; manage material sourcing for NPI builds.
