Job summary

BMC Software seeks a Sr Compensation Analyst to partner with Total Rewards, HRBPs, HRIS, Finance and leaders to develop and administer global compensation programs. You will analyze pay practices, model adjustments, and support governance across markets.

You will leverage Oracle HCM, market data, and AI tools to drive competitive, equitable pay decisions, while ensuring compliance and data integrity in a hybrid, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, Economics or related field; 5+ years in compensation/Total Rewards or HR analytics.
• Strong knowledge of market pricing, salary structures, job evaluation, internal equity and incentive compensation.
• Advanced data-management and analytical skills; ability to translate data into business recommendations.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to craft audience-appropriate PowerPoint presentations.
• Familiarity with Copilot or similar AI tools; must handle sensitive data with judgment.
• Proven project management skills with ability to plan, execute and allocate resources.
• Experience with HRIS, market-pricing, pay-equity tools; Oracle HCM, Payscale MarketPay, Syndio, Radford or similar.
• CCP designation or progress toward certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support global compensation cycles in Oracle HCM, including system setup, reporting and communications.
• Conduct job evaluations, market pricing, and salary surveys to support job architecture and salary structures.
• Analyze pay positioning and model compensation adjustments for hiring, promotions and internal moves.
• Collaborate with Finance to support accruals and forecasts as needed.
• Audit compensation data and strengthen documentation and controls across global/local pay practices.
• Support pay equity and pay gap reporting; assist with EU Pay Transparency and local regulatory requirements.
• Manage defined compensation projects and recommend program improvements based on market trends and regulations.
• Utilize Copilot/AI tools to streamline analysis, reporting and workflows with oversight.
• Monitor country-specific pay increases and coordinate with HRIS and Payroll.
• Contribute to additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
