Nomura Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Client Onboarding professional to lead end-to-end onboarding for new-to-bank clients in the US market.

You will navigate complex KYC/AML processes, regulatory requirements, and tax considerations while coordinating with multiple internal partners to deliver a seamless client experience. The role demands strong project leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset to drive process improvements and innovation within Nomura’s Wholesale

Qualifications

• 3+ years onboarding experience with financial institutional clients.
• Proven track record of project leadership in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Strong client-focused service mindset with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team player with ability to build consensus and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and able to solve problems quickly.
• Ability to manage high-volume requests and maintain executing pace under pressure.
• Knowledge of US AML/KYC/Regulatory requirements and related controls.
• FINRA Series 99 license is required.
• Willingness to learn and drive strategic decisions and insights across teams.
• Fosters an inclusive culture and promotes risk-aware practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead End-to-End Client Onboarding: manage front-to-back onboarding for new-to-bank clients.
• Drive Client Excellence: guide clients through Tax, KYC, AML, Regulatory and Credit processes.
• Champion Process Innovation: resolve onboarding challenges across cross-functional partners.
• Orchestrate Cross-Functional Success: coordinate with Business, Operations, Legal, Credit, and more.
• Foster Transparent Partnerships: maintain proactive, clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Become a Strategic Partner for Innovation: master Nomura’s platforms and participate in special projects.
