Job summary

Asana is seeking a Sr Global Billings Lead to oversee global billing and order management, partnering with go-to-market and systems teams. This role is based in San Francisco with a hybrid schedule and office-centric in-office days.

You will lead a global Billing Analysts team and drive end-to-end billing processes for complex enterprise deals. The ideal candidate has leadership experience in billing, consumption-based models, and familiarity with Zuora and NetSuite, plus cross-functional

Qualifications

• Leadership in billing and order management, including offshore vendor oversight.
• Experience with consumption-based billing models.
• Experience supporting multi-billion dollar enterprise accounts.
• Strong knowledge of Zuora Billing, Zuora RevPro, NetSuite, Salesforce CPQ, or Metronome.
• Understanding ASC 606 and SOX controls.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Deal Desk and Sales to structure complex deals and advise on non-standard billing.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Technology to scale the quote-to-order process and implement system enhancements.
• Lead SKU and systems launches with Product, Finance, and Revenue Ops to ensure billing readiness for new products.
• Serve as the operational owner for strategic accounts, handling terms, usage, pricing, and invoicing.
• Drive UAT for billing system changes and new product releases across stakeholders.
• Manage month-end close, including journal entries and AR/billings reconciliations between Zuora and NetSuite.
• Establish and maintain SOX controls with proper documentation.
