Job summary

Asana is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to support global revenue accounting, overseeing revenue recognition, contract reviews, and related policies. You will partner with Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, and FP&A to drive improvements and ensure SOX controls and accurate reporting.

The role involves leading monthly close, quarterly filings, and collaborating with auditors. A hybrid SF office schedule applies with in-office days and WFH flexibility depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in revenue accounting for SaaS or service arrangements.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP revenue recognition rules, ASC 606.
• Experience with NetSuite, Zuora, and Roadrunner CPQ.
• Experience with system implementations and working in a Big-4 or equivalent firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue close activities and maintain revenue recognition policies.
• Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, and FP&A to optimize processes.
• Drive automation projects and scalable solutions for multi-product and consumption models.
