Job summary

Esri is seeking a Solution Engineering Team Lead to drive technical strategy for state & local government, mentoring a high-caliber group focused on geospatial analysis and ArcGIS implementation. You will partner with account managers to shape technical sales approaches and deliver compelling solutions to complex customer needs.

A strong leadership presence and GIS expertise are essential. You will mentor a virtual team, craft customer-ready presentations, and travel up to 50% to engage with key

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications.
• 3+ years of experience mentoring, motivating, and coaching on a team.
• Advanced understanding of GIS technology, including ArcGIS system for state & local government.
• Broad IT knowledge: hardware, software, storage, security, networking, servers, databases, web services, virtualization, cloud.

Responsibilities

• Empower your team by mentoring, coaching, and providing direction; support sales objectives.
• Build relationships by presenting and supporting Esri software to technical and non-technical audiences within accounts.
• Be an expert on ArcGIS and state & local government to design complex solutions.
• Solve problems by crafting GIS-driven strategies addressing customers’ business challenges.
• Tell Esri’s story through presentations and provide guidance for conferences and executive engagements.
