Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. is seeking a GIS Project Manager to lead a growing GIS team across New England. The role supports transportation, municipal, and federal projects with Esri software and strong data management.
The position offers a hybrid schedule from MA offices (including Worcester) with opportunities for mentorship, client engagement, and business development, reporting to the GIS leadership. Strong technical and leadership skills are essential.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of GIS experience with at least 4 in project management.
- BS in GIS, Geography, Planning or related field; masters preferred.
- Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS Platform and related tools.
- GISP certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide project oversight to deliver on time and within budget.
- Lead GIS pursuits and ensure successful technical delivery.
- Support business development and client relationship efforts.
- Mentor and lead GIS staff, providing technical direction.
- Represent VHB at industry events and deliver technical talks.
- Configure web apps using ArcGIS Online/Portal and related tools.
- Prepare scopes, time estimates, and budgets for proposals.
- Perform quality control on work products.
