Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. (VHB) is seeking a GIS Project Manager to lead a growing New England GIS team. The role supports transportation, DOTs, municipalities, energy, real estate, and federal agencies with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise expertise.
The successful candidate will manage projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development while delivering high-quality GIS solutions in a hybrid, multi-office environment.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of GIS experience with at least 4 years in project management.
- BS in GIS, Geography, Planning, or related; Master’s preferred.
- GISP certification preferred.
- Experience across Esri ArcGIS Platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise)
Responsibilities
- Provide project oversight on GIS projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Serve as Project Manager on GIS pursuits and provide input on GIS-related projects.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities and assisting with proposals.
- Lead development and mentorship of GIS staff with technical direction.
- Represent VHB at industry conferences and deliver technical presentations.
- Configure web apps using Esri ArcGIS Online/Portal and related tools.
- Communicate effectively in large team settings and independently.
- Provide estimates, scopes, and budgets for proposals and RFPs.
- Perform Quality Control on work products.
