Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. is seeking a GIS Project Manager to lead a growing GIS team across the New England region.
The role offers hybrid work from multiple MA/RI/CT offices, with opportunities to mentor staff and manage diverse GIS projects for transportation, municipal, energy, and federal clients. The successful candidate will have 8+ years in GIS, strong project management experience, and proficiency with Esri's ArcGIS platform, including ArcGIS Pro, Online, Enterprise, and related web
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional GIS experience, including 4+ years in project management.
- BS in GIS, Geography, Planning, Survey Engineering, CS, or related discipline; Master's preferred.
- GISP certification preferred; ArcGIS Platform experience is expected.
Responsibilities
- Provide project oversight on GIS projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Lead GIS projects and mentor junior staff; provide technical direction.
- Support business development; contribute to proposals and interviews.
- Represent VHB at industry events; deliver technical presentations.
- Configure web apps using ArcGIS Online/Portal and related tools.
- Write scopes of work and develop budgets for proposals and RFPs.
- Perform QA on work products.
