Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. in Austin, TX seeks an Infrastructure Management & GIS Senior Project Manager to lead water resources and infrastructure projects within our GIS Team.

You will manage scope, budgets, and team coordination while cultivating client relationships and delivering strategic GIS solutions. The role offers growth through project leadership, business development, and ownership potential within Halff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive GIS experience and/or related education.
• Leadership experience involving project scoping, planning, budgeting, delegation, and staff management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, management, and delivery of infrastructure management and GIS projects.
• Serve as Project Manager and primary client contact, developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, contracts, quality control, and overall project performance.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate technical staff, subconsultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Provide technical and strategic direction for infrastructure management and GIS projects.
• Lead GIS mapping and spatial data projects from planning through delivery.
• Review and oversee technical deliverables, plans, specifications, reports, and design documentation.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control processes.
• Mentor and develop infrastructure management and GIS staff.
• Support business development and sales efforts by identifying project opportunities, growing client accounts, preparing proposals, participating in interviews, and delivering client presentations.
