Job summary

Halff is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) / Utility Coordination (UC) team in Austin, Texas. You will manage SUE/UC projects across transportation, municipal infrastructure, and development, including mapping, coordination, and relocation support.

The role emphasizes project scope, budget, schedule, resources, and quality, with opportunities for technical guidance and growth within Halff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or ABET-accredited equivalent engineering program.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas, or ability to obtain Texas licensure through reciprocity within an appropriate timeframe preferred.
5+ years of experience in SUE/UC, transportation, utilities, or related civil infrastructure projects.
Experience managing utility coordination, utility conflict identification, and/or utility relocation projects.

Responsibilities

Manage SUE/UC projects from planning through completion, including scope, budget, schedule, staffing, quality, and overall project performance.
Lead utility coordination, conflict identification, and utility relocation efforts on transportation and infrastructure projects.
Coordinate with utility owners, clients, engineers, surveyors, field crews, CADD/GIS staff, contractors, subconsultants, and other project stakeholders.
