Job summary

Halff is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Management & GIS Senior Project Manager to join our GIS Team in north Austin, TX. You will lead water resources and infrastructure projects, manage client relationships, and drive project delivery from planning through completion.

You will mentor staff, support business development, and coordinate with subconsultants and internal teams to develop effective geospatial solutions for Texas clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, CS, or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of progressive GIS experience.
• Leadership experience with project scoping, planning, budgeting, delegation, and staff management.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro 3.x and Esri software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to mentor staff.
• Experience with QA/QC and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, management, and delivery of infrastructure management and GIS projects.
• Serve as Project Manager and primary client contact; maintain relationships.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, contracts, quality control, and performance.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams; coordinate staff and subconsultants.
• Provide technical and strategic direction for infrastructure management and GIS.
• Lead GIS mapping and spatial data projects from planning to delivery.
• Review deliverables, plans, reports, and design documentation.
• Implement and maintain QA/QC processes.
• Mentor and develop staff.
• Support business development; identify opportunities, prepare proposals.
• Represent Halff with clients, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and accountability.
• Contribute to growth of Halff’s infrastructure management & GIS practice in Texas.
