Apex Engineering Group seeks a GIS Analyst to support the GIS Coordinator across multiple projects, delivering advanced maps, data analysis, and automation in ArcGIS. The role includes data integration, documentation, and potential growth into consulting services.

Requirements include a BS in Geography or GIS, 3–5 years ESRI experience, CAD familiarity, and valid driver's license with regional travel. Office-based in Dickinson, ND with multiple Apex offices.

Qualifications

• BS in Geography, CS or GIS field from an accredited college or university.
• 3–5 years GIS ESRI software experience including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and Survey123.
• Knowledge of GIS in land development, gov, planning, water resources, and transportation.
• Relational databases and Esri languages (Arcade, Python, VB, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with CAD data and GIS conversion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare advanced maps, data analysis, and GIS automation in ArcGIS.
• Create presentation-quality maps for internal use.
• Develop quality control procedures and process docs.
• Acquire spatial data and integrate into the GIS.
• Collaborate within a team and meet deadlines.
• Support internal/external consulting services as needed.
