Job summary

Apex Engineering Group is seeking a GIS professional to support the GIS Coordinator on a broad range of GIS projects. The role emphasizes data analysis, advanced map development, and web GIS configuration to serve internal and external clients.

You will work with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Survey123, Field Maps, and related ESRI tools, and may advance to consulting services. Office locations include multiple Minnesota/North Dakota offices with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Computer Science, or GIS-related field from an accredited college or university.
• - 3-5 years’ experience with the ESRI GIS software suite and related tools.
• - Familiarity with land development, local government, and transportation planning.
• - Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and related ESRI products.
• - Working knowledge of databases and Esri programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare advanced detailed maps and GIS automation using ESRI software.
• Develop presentation-quality maps for internal use.
• Acquire spatial data and integrate datasets into the GIS.
• Support ArcGIS Solutions configuration and dashboards.
• Contribute to QC procedures and process documentation.
• Collaborate within a team and communicate effectively.
