Job summary
Apex Engineering Group seeks a GIS Analyst to support the GIS Coordinator across multiple Apex Office locations (Fargo, Bismarck, Dickinson, Minot, ND or Detroit Lakes, MN). The role focuses on data analysis, advanced map development, and configuring web-based GIS solutions within the ArcGIS environment.
You will also develop automation, support consulting services, and collaborate with internal and external clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Computer Science, or GIS-related field from an accredited college or university.
- 3-5 years’ experience with ESRI GIS suite including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and related tools.
- Experience with CAD data conversion to GIS and GPS data collection.
Responsibilities
- Prepare advanced detailed maps and GIS automation.
- Develop and manage quality control procedures and process documentation.
- Acquire spatial data and integrate datasets into the GIS.
- Produce presentation quality maps for internal use.
- Work collaboratively within a team and meet deadlines.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
