Job summary

Apex Engineering Group is seeking a GIS Analyst to support the GIS Coordinator with a broad range of GIS projects. This role emphasizes data analysis, advanced map development, and web-based GIS configuration across multiple offices including Minot, ND.

Responsibilities include automating workflows in ArcGIS, building presentations-quality maps, and ensuring data quality while collaborating with internal and external clients. Travel and office presence may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Geography, Computer Science, or GIS-related field from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Prepare advanced detailed maps, data analysis and GIS automation using GIS software.
• Produce presentation quality maps for internal usage.
• Develop quality control procedures and process documentation.
• Acquire spatial data and integrate datasets into the GIS.
• Maintain attention to detail on concurrent tasks and meet deadlines.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
