Zusammenfassung

The City of Maypearl is seeking a GIS Analyst III to perform advanced analysis, programming, and testing to support the city’s Geographic Information System (GIS). The role maintains software and networks and coordinates with departments to ensure GIS data accuracy and accessibility.

Responsibilities include creating maps and property descriptions, developing web applications with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python and Django, and leading other analysts.

Qualifikationen

5 years performing GIS activities and computer programming.
Associates degree in GIS, Computer Science, or a related field.

Aufgaben

Provide daily operational support to GIS users and troubleshoot issues.
Design and implement maps, GIS numbers, and property descriptions for planning and utilities.
Develop web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python and Django; modify and maintain GIS software.
Provide programming, coding, testing, and analysis to support GIS development.
Prepare technical reports on geographic models and zoning data; update maps and dockets.
Guide technicians on databases, software, and GIS tools.
