Intertek is seeking a Regional Engineer - Geotechnical in Cleveland, OH to lead geotechnical support across diverse project types and mentor staff within the Intertek-PSI team. The role requires a strong background in geotechnical engineering, software proficiency, and the ability to work with clients and teams nationwide.

Ideal candidates hold an ABET-accredited Bachelor's and a Master's in Geotechnical Engineering, 10+ years of experience, and an Ohio P.E. license or ability to obtain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from ABET-accredited engineering program; Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Ohio P.E. license required or ability to obtain.
• Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software listed above.
• Internal progression to Principal Consultant available (CS 5 years/Geo 8 years).
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication; team collaboration across regions and globally.
• Ability to work off shifts and overtime.

Responsabilités

• Provide geotechnical engineering support on multiple project types including transportation, infrastructure, and multi-family developments.
• Perform evaluations using standard geotechnical techniques and engineering judgment.
• Interpret lab and field test results and project conditions to make recommendations.
• Prepare and review geotechnical reports per specifications and scope.
• Assign tasks to staff and coordinate with project teams.
• Engage with clients and attend client site meetings.
