Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) seeks an experienced Project Engineer to lead geotechnical and civil projects. This role emphasizes hands-on project engineering, field investigations, and team supervision across municipal, industrial, residential, and commercial sectors.

The candidate should have a Civil Engineering degree, a PE in SC or the ability to reciprocity, and 5–12 years in geotechnical work with 3+ years in management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• PE license in South Carolina or ability to obtain reciprocity for operations.
• 5–12 years in geotechnical engineering and/or materials testing, 3+ years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance, drilling oversight, sampling, and field data collection; assign soils lab testing.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain strong professional relationships through the project lifecycle.
• Implement QA/QC procedures; review designs, calculations, reports, and drawings to ensure compliance with standards.
