BUNNELL LAMMONS ENGINEERING is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to lead geotechnical, environmental, and civil projects in our Tampa, FL area.

The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background, 5–12 years of geotechnical experience, and a track record of leadership and delivering high-quality solutions for diverse clients. On-site work and collaboration across teams are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field required.
• PE licensure or reciprocity preferred for project leadership.
• Minimum 5–12 years geotechnical engineering and/or materials testing with 3+ years in supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance and data collection.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
• Perform reviews of designs, calculations, and reports for quality and compliance.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff to foster growth and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standards.
