BUNNELL LAMMONS ENGINEERING is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to lead environmental, geotechnical, and civil projects in the Greenville/Columbia/Spartanburg area. The role demands hands-on project engineering, leadership, and a track record of delivering complex assignments from conception through completion.

The ideal candidate has 5–12 years in geotechnical engineering with supervisory experience, a PE license, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GeoStudio, gINT, and Tablogs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; PE license in SC or reciprocity.
• 5–12 years in geotechnical engineering or materials testing with 3+ years in supervision.
• Knowledge of geotechnical design, construction requirements and geosynthetics.
• Ability to apply civil and geotechnical engineering principles to projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance, drilling oversight, sampling and field data collection.
• Oversee project team performance, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to requirements.
• Maintain strong client relationships and communicate progress and challenges clearly.
• Implement quality control and participate in audits to ensure standards.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
