Job summary

BUNNELL LAMMONS ENGINEERING is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to lead geotechnical, environmental, and civil projects in the Greenville/Columbia/Spartanburg area. You will manage planning, execution, and closure, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong geotechnical background, PE licensure or reciprocity, and 5–12 years of relevant experience with supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field and PE licensure.
• Minimum 5–12 years geotechnical engineering and/or materials testing with 3+ years in supervision.
• Knowledge of geosynthetics and geotechnical design/construction.
• Ability to apply civil/geotechnical engineering principles to design, analysis, problem-solving.
• Experience with site investigations, field data collection, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, designers, and field staff.
• Lead geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance, drilling oversight, sampling, and lab testing coordination.
